1/30 Pool 4 open water eyes/pics

    Me and my buddy Brad Swanson headed down to everts resort to do some open water fishing. we caught fish in 22/32 FOW with several different presentations, jig/minnow, jig/moxie, blade baits, and hair jigs. most fish came on a blade bait or oyster color moxie. when the bite slowed down we switch to jigs and minnows and started to pick fish up again. most fish were 14-15″ we caught plenty above the lot though and kept a few for a meal. we also released a 27, several 20 and two 24. The weather was perfect but it wouldnt have taken much wind to make it real cold though. the bite should start to pick up some in the next week or two. good luck fishing!

    Good Job men! I think you got a pretty good pattern going Were they pretty aggressive again today?

    at times but caught alot more on jigs today, working them pretty slow and the fish were just taping them.

    great post and report drew just learned something new… hair jig rigged with plastic… i really got the itch going now.

    Great post Drew.. its good to hear some are taking advantage of this nice weather.

    Good report, thanks for sharing. Went to the swap meet on Saturday, sure felt strange to drive into Hager City without the boat

    Can’t wait til the next time I can get back into the boat, hope it’s sooner than later.
