Whats the water looking like down there? More so when does that night dragging bite kick off? Ive spent some time down there but never in the fall. From the reports looks like bite has been decent. What are some good presentations for fall down there. Not looking for any spots just the best presentations for this time of year. Ill be launching out of everts but would like to have stuff tied up before the boats in the water. Also do you guys that run the river in the winter plug all the drains/inlets on the livewells on your boats? I didnt last winter and didnt have any problems but just wondering.

For us on Sunday the jig bite was slow, but we did very well pulling cranks with leadcore and with a 3 way rig.

This past week, overall the stick-bait trolling bite was probably the most consistent for quality and quantity of fish to the boat. Vertical jigging for most was a “ok” bite with flurries of fish and several missed hook-sets. The long-line dragging bite is just starting to show itself,as the water is cleaning up nicely !

dragging bite would be sweet! I haven’t been in on a good one for some time. BK what is the Cubic feet per second situation these days (I think that is the right way to say it)?

Well…I pulled that trigger many years ago and it’s a curse..to own two nice boats, one for Winter and one for the rest of the year. It’s 6 batteries to maintain, not 3…2 gas tanks to keep fresh fuel in, the list goes on and on. I still have two of them, but am seriously looking to get a year around boat that is a compromise in-between the two I now have.
