Headed down tomorrow from dust till dawn. Where would some of you more experienced river rats start your pre-sunrise bite at. Im not looking for any secret spots (unless you were willing to give them up 
) Just trying to work on my jig pitching. Would you focus on rip rap, 1st current seem, wingdam or sand? Thanks in advance guys

I dont have confidence in one spot over the other and you really only have one or two spots before sunrise. Just curious if one type of spot has been out producing others for some of you guys that have been out a few times in the last week.
Rock has been better than sand for me lately. Any place you can find shallow rock with slow moving water on it should have fish right away in the morning. If you know the river well enough, look for areas with deep water close by that have access to the slow moving water in the shallows.
