Anyone know if the ramp is open in town? Is the ice gone up to the dam? If not will probably have to head to Lynxville or Genoa. Any help is greatly appreciated. Need to get out in the boat. I feel more comfortable there than on the ice right now!!
I heard that it was still iced up, but that was monday, hard to say by the weekend.
I was at Guttenberg Monday visiting relatives. The river is only partially open below the dam. The center area of the dam is open no more that a couple of 100 yards. The area above the fishing float is froze up to the rocks by the sign. There was an airboat sitting on the ice about 20 feet from the open water but have no idea what/how they were doing.
