Sweeeet! Pool 14 forecast is to rise 12-18″ over the next day or two, muddied up again and flow should be kicking up well over 60,000 cfs again. Just think of all the big fat girls out there that have not been harassed all year. Maybe this late fall or winter we can catch a few……

This by far has been the worst year that I can remember in some time. Hopefully the river will turn normal in October. You picked the wrong week to take off from work buddy.

I’ll take the blame. Watching the levels come down on P14 for the last week, started to plan an outing….river says not yet…. I’ll stop making plans to get out.

Made it over to pool 13 Sat. morning and had to dodge the lightning bolts.Water muddied up quick and went pretty much biteless most of the day. Hoping the fall is a much better bite.

Well Tony, I’m hitting the honey do’s as much as my aching back will allow this week, hoping to earn a reprieve if and when the river straightens up…

There’s a good bite on the Illinois now. Lots of fish to be had. Yesterday was a good one.

That’s fine with me John. I’m only interested in seeing the crew anyway. Tell the boys that Bruce won’t be there this year.LOL. We don’t need that scene again.

I’m stuck working next weekend John. Thought I would be able to take it off but it’s not looking good…

I was out tonight for a few hours ZERO walleyes ! I went to the bottom of the pool to a few good fall spots with nothing biting at all. Not even a little bass or anything. The grass sucks , I had very few clean casts. It’s got to get better because it can’t get any worse. You can’t get lower than 0.
