Last Friday when we had a strong SE wind we were smoking the saugers on the drop off near the North Bouy at HH (Hanson’s Harbor. They were in 16 to 20 FOW. Good luck and post a report when you get back as I will be heading out Monday afternoon. They would only bite on a chartreuse Phelp’s Floater with a 3 foot snell tipper with a minnow. Anything else, not even a nibble! We caught a 3 man limit in less then 2 hours. We had several triple headers, which is rare. One of the best days, I’ve had in a while. I find that fishing the windiest side of the lake is the most productive.
