Breakin in the New Ride

Finally got the new rig completed (with the motor I ordered 3 months ago) the day before vacation.

Got to break her in on p4 last week. Love the setup of the Nav 165 – roomy with lots of storage, huge livewell – and she scoots along nicely with the 90 4-stroke.

Wish the weather would have cooperated a little more but was able to boat some nice fish – like my PB 28-incher in first pic.

Draggin jigs was the ticket. Found a couple spots holding numbers of keepers, but we kept going back to the secret big-fish spot that everybody knows about.

Thanks again to Marty and Dean for pointing us in the right direction.

That is one of the nicest tin rides I have seen as of late! Must be a good sign when you get your PB eye and a new ride at the same time!

You look a little sunburnt young fella. Better protect those knee caps as you’ll be begging for another pool 4 trip since our river down here is still messed up.

Oh yeah, nice fish and good looking ride.
