    haven’t been out for a while. a pool 9 fishing update would be great. anyone having any luck there yet. i have been on land for 2 weeks now and its has to stop.

    Fished up that way last Thursday. Went up into Desoto Bay looking for bluegills. Water was clear and caught to small ones way up in the north end weeds. Left there and went down to the beginning of the Winneshiek. Fished around some snags for cats, nothing. Then went exploring, found a little cut that had some current, caught 2 more small gills. All this was late afternoon/early evening. Lots of grass and weeds in the current, logs and such out in the channel too.

    Given the water level….target flooded weed beds at dawn & dusk with deeper drops nearby. Willow Cats are a pretty easy target for the white tips right now
