PB’s for Dad and the FW

With the water changing daily, the bite has been up and down for me. Last weekend had Dad out trolling cranks he put his PB in the boat, and then we had many good eating size fish for the day. Mom came out the next day and we couldn’t buy a bite…..I has hopeful mom would get one bigger than dad but it didn’t work out for us that day.

This weekend Fathers day I managed to talk the FW of 22 years to get out fishing with me….She managed her PB. Trolling bright colors has been the best pattern for me. The speed has been all over the place. Dad’s hit at 3.54 mph GPS and the FW’s at 2.64 mph. and Aarons fish hit at 1.25 mph
Finding the speed they want is the tricky part, for me slower in the am and quicker as the water warms up. I’d like to see a week of stable weather to see what it would do. I think things would really take off.

Last Friday…..If you would have came over and said Hi Friday you could have meet the FW……. Nope you had to get to the secret Cat hole and drive right by….

Thanks though 22 years. They oldest is going off to collage and the youngest is off with his friends…..she finally said ok. I may have created a monster….ordering me around the boat like she’s been doing it for years.
