Well we missed the show last night but managed our own deadly catch. It was literally one of those nights dreams are made of. Crossin Eyes and I both caught a trophy fish.
One was 28 1/4 and one was 29. About 15 minutes apart on P2. I’m still grinning.

No kidding! You know, we were having a tough night too. Lots of current, lots of debris, we had fished for almost 3 hours without a walleye. Then in the next 15 minutes we were giggling like school girls!

Great fish guys. That makes up for the few slow trips you guys have had this year. Glad to hear the water is up. It pushes the fish into smaller areas and once found it can be some fantastic fishing. Hope to get out later today and check it out.

Yea, we know numerous spots where they aren’t. If we were smart we would get back out there tonight and keep trying new spots. We would likely locate some pods.
