I will be out with my wife and five year old on pepin this weekend and was wondering why I never hear anyone mention fishing with slip bobbers. Does that just leave you too isolated for the lake/river or is it not mentioned cause its a givin that it works? Are leeches still the hot bait? Thanks will post fishing report

Even in the lake, there is flow, it just comes down to how many times you want to recast the bobbers with little buggers scrambling around the boat. If I was taking kids I would spread 4 lines stay shallow and rip cranks. longline 2 #5s, and then drop 2 #7s right behind the boat, or 2 longline, and 2 leadcore. U can have them let out line till the counters hit the right number, or just throw rods in the holder until they load.

You could also drag jigs heavier weight in front of boat and decrease weight gradually to the back with more line out.

Bouncers can work to depending on age and skill level. Cranks will be least stress, but ” MOST” women are big fans of the electric motor and no wind.

Nice work on getting the fam out, report your catch.
