Head of the Lake?

    Will be making our second trip of a life time to Pepin this weekend. Where would be some areas of interest at the head of the lake? I still don’t have a leadcore pole but ready for some 3 ways and bait rigs. I have my trusty Pool 4 fishing Hot Spots map in front of me. We made our first trip a couple weeks ago and never left the Lake City area. Want to show Momma something new this time. Any and all tips would be great.

    Don’t be afraid to fish shallow up there. 7 fow or less.

    Good luck up there Smackem. I have not been on the water up that way since Memorial Day so I can’t give you any current advice. I would agree with fishing shallow.

    What’s the bottom like in the shallow areas?

    We pulled a few out of there Monday morning. Just on the outside of either color channel marker.
