Has anyone been out on Prarie, or Lansing after the rain? I was wondering how high and muddy it was.

    Lansing area ~
Backwaters & confluence areas are stained a little but main channel is exceptionally clear.

WOW you guys must not have gotten the rain that we had. In 2 days I had 5 inches. Oh crap this may turn out to be another expensive weekend

Little over 2″ total here in DeSoto the last couple days. But you are right. In yester years if it merely got cloudy out the water would mud up real quick like. Last summer the river was ran pretty clean even after some real soakers. Zebra = increased sunlight penetration = increased weed growth = more filtration = increased water clarity? I dunno….

It would have been great fishing if all the fish would have been about 2 lbs bigger. We caught as many little saugers as I could handle off the wing dams. We ended up with 4 nice fish but they were all caught way down river.
