This is my first post on entering a fishing report, so here it goes! Saturday my uncle and I fished Pepin out of Hok-Si-La ramp from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. We started out shollow with only couple short fish for the first hour. We moved out to 20-25fow heading up the lake in the wind! We only managed a couple more short fish. Wind was blowing and my uncle was not into fighting it so we started trolling back down the lake back to Hansen Harbor area picking up a couple nice saugers. So the rest of the day we worked down the current trolling lead from 1.6 to 2 mph. We trolled #5 and #7 shad raps with 3 colors out. All in all very good day ended up with around 35-40 fish, 21.5 inch sauger and 19.5 inch walleye were biggest. I just had a great day fishing with my uncle and got him a nice limit of saugers to bring home.
Saturday on Pepin
