The 494 ramp is in very good shape. I shoveled what little snow remained on the ramp this morning and threw a little sand on it.
I fished for a few hours this afternoon up by the airport and the bite seemed to be decent. There were only three boats out this afternoon. There was quite a bit of ice floating in some spots so be careful…. some of it is very clear and hard to see.

I stopped in at the pool2 494 bridge acces this afternoon (2-5). The ramp is iced in with ice that reaches about thirty yards out into the river. Hopefully it will clear out with the warm temps coming wed. and thurs. I guess it really dont matter for me, being I just sold my boat and it will take a month or so to get my new one. I guess I’ll have to suffer through the next month with only being able to ice fish.
