Another three way question

Looks like sunday on pool 4, I think we’ll try trolling three ways on Pepin and see what happens.
New to this and I think we have everything we need other than lure selection.

We will be using mostly raps and I’m a little confused on which ones, with the people I’ve talked to or read what they posted some say to use shallow running, and some say to use suspended running lures.

Any preference or do both work????

F-7 or F-9 floating raps work the best for us

I was afraid someone was going to say floating….o-well, off to Gander mountain tonight…:)
Thanks, does make sense considering how deep you are already.

I am farely new to the whole “3 Way rigging” thing but we used the same baits regardles of the depth. But dont base your decision souly off my info. I am sure other guys will chime in and lend a hand.

Thanks, what I meant by depth was the three was swivel was already close to the bottom.

Always open to suggestions, that’s one great way to learn.

Thanks, I’ve watched that before but unless I missed it, he just mentions lures and not their depth range/floater/?

We were fishing 15-20 feet deep with F7s and F9s.

Give the new Flat Raps (8s) a try on the business end of your 3-ways. Those have been strong producers for me this year, both on 3-ways as well as behind boards in a crank/spinner trolling spread.

Thanks, I’ll pick some up, maybe even a orange one…

Forgive the old timer here, but do these lures come in different depth ranges, many do??
I wander the stores and they list several different kinds of depths for the same lure, that’s where I’m having my problem right now.

    Thanks great video btw
