    Thinking of heading out to Victory or Blackhawk area Thursday. Does anybody have any suggestions or tips for a first timer? Thanks in advance!

    I caught a 24″er on the big gravel/wingdam point in Victory (Just north of blackhawk) on Saturday. You gotta throw a black and blue swim jig though!

    I was up there last weekend and it was tuff. That storm and wind really screwed things up. The fish we did get came out of 15 to 18 FOW

    Thanks to both of you for the input. Greatly appreciated. The river can be intimidating if you’re not familiar with it. I keep hearing it’s worth the trip, I’ll let you know…
