I’m heading down to fish on sunday, has anyone had any luck fishing around maiden rock?

We are trying to make a game plan and not sure where to start.

We will stop by evert’s and bug Jesse and see if we can get any leftover sat. hair jig specials and go from there.

    thanks SIVee

Your gonna have to pick Millerman for some info, I wont be around ’till noon. I am guessing that the trolling bite down there is pretty good right now. Dont be afraid to try pitching the shallows where some of the tributaries drain into the ‘Sip in that area.

The water temp. has been hanging around 50-51 for the past 12 days. Today the reading jumped up to 56!!!

I’d think the fish would start going, if not already, as the temp starts to tickle 60.

At first I was going to call your bluff, how can temp jump 6 degrees over night? Checked both sites and it did, WOW! must have been from the rain? -Mark

Hopefully this will help make them fish agressive..
Just seems like its to early in the year for the temps. to be up that high, all the warm weather has moved everything up early.
