Had the pleasure of fishing the first Walleye Searchers Tournament of the year with Ryan Wright on Sunday. We pulled into our first spot and started pitching, I started out with a blade bait and Ryan was pitching a chartreuse MR Twister Tail. We were not there for five minutes when this big girl smacked Ryan’s jig, she went 27″. We did not get a weight as the batteries in my digital died on me. What a way to start out the day I thought we were going to be on fire but we could not even manage to catch a cold the rest of the day but she was big enough to put us in 4th place.

Nice fish Steve. I am guessing at 27″ she is an easy 7+ lb fish

not to burst any bubbles but that looks like a post spawn fish.

    Nice fish none the less.
