What? I didn’t think dragging work anyplace BUT Pool 4!

I like the color of the last eye.

You must be mistaken, there are no walleyes in P3.

I like the boat motor!!! Must be nice not having to worry about hiting stuff. Plus back channel boondocking has to be fun. Nice fish

nope it’s not a beaver tail boat. It is a Fowler boat. Hey Josh you should thank your net man right
nice fish but why would you let the guy take the pic with the sun in the back ground?

beavertail and fowler are made by blue rock mfg. they look almost the same. the eye almost was the one that got away net man had a 2nd chance with the net locked in for next round.

going to hit p3 to stay away from the tourney on P4 . Are there any bait shops in Prescott? I was told to drift right in from the railroad bridge down past the boat ramp any other suggestions?

Nice fish ! Thanks for the bait info as well. Are you going all the way to the dam or right out in front of Prescott.

    Kevin,
If you mean the dam in Hastings,
You can not fish any part of Pool 3, from Prescott up river to the Hastings dam til the MN Opener in mid May, that is INLAND water. At the train bridge in Prescott down river is border water, and is open all year long in the Border Water Special regs.
    Good Luck.

fished P3 today , got 5 nice sauger between the 3 of us , enough for a nice meal. Saw a few eyes caught in the mid 20’s but nothing big. Was a fun day. Caught nothing up near the RR-Bridge everything was down at the far south end of the marina.

fished P4 again today from 630 until noon. Same as yesterday ended up with 5 nice saugers, but today it was glow orange jig and minnow combo. never saw any eyes caught at all. Got stopped by the warden very very nice guy. He told us that they did really good on eyes out in front of the boat ramp and up to the railroad bridge last night.

Fished Prescott yesterday (4/11) in the afternoon. Slow overall but did manage a few saugers. Gulp 3″ minnows (black shad 3″) worked best by far. Did manage a couple on half crawlers and some dink walleyes on vertical blades.

Outside of a d-bag in a cruiser who thought I did not move out of his way quick enough it was a good day. Some reason he felt he needed 100 yards of space to navigate to his marina in slack water.
