Nobody has been out. I talked to Vick a day or two ago and he told me he hadn’t seen a boat out in 8 days. Too cold and we have more snow coming. I haven’t checked the long range forecasts to see what the temps will be for the weekend…
February 5, 2004 at 5:00 pm #291593It is never to cold or snowy to fish. If i had the chance i would be there right now or any time.
James how was your tripFebruary 5, 2004 at 5:04 pm #291594weather’s lookin a bit chilly for this weekend, but take a look at next weekend……..
melt snow, MELT!!!February 5, 2004 at 5:05 pm #291595The trip went well. SPent most of the time hanging out in front of the fireplace… that was the week of extreme cold and the area we were at had NO SNOW. Not good when you go on a X-country skiing and snowmobiling trip… lol But it was relaxing and I needed that!
February 5, 2004 at 5:13 pm #291598OK college boy… I took a look at your link. You do understand that snow melts at 32′, right?
Just giving you a hard time Jake. Anything pushing 30′ is more than welcome and if the wind stays down that is plenty warm for boat fishing!

February 5, 2004 at 5:37 pm #291600Okay o-great-fisher-man……obviously you’ve been out of the loop for a while……..here in MN we like to melt snow at 29deg …… i have much scientific evidence to support my theory

Does that include the creation of yellow snow?
February 5, 2004 at 5:43 pm #291602I see you have learned much at college. I heard one time that some “tricky” math could be used to PROVE that an elephant could hang off the edge of a cliff clinging to a daisy by its trunk and not fall.
Must have been a WSU grad?
When the mathematician was asked if he would be willing to stand at the bottom of the cliff below the elephant while the experiement to prove his theory was conducted, he replied….
February 5, 2004 at 5:46 pm #291604What I want to know is what kinda guy keeps a photo of a guy eating pee-snow on file and ready for use at a moments notice?… lol
You ate pee-snow!… lol

Don HansonPosts: 2073February 5, 2004 at 8:41 pm #291464Jon, I wanted you to know I am not going to chime in on this forcast. Remember what happened last time! Looks like a good weekend to hit the Expo.
February 6, 2004 at 7:45 am #291689In the last 19 days, there has been 9 boats out…..none since 1-26. I did go out last Saturday for a couple hours. We got one 18 inche walleye. Looks as if the weather is gonna get a bit better this week. The ramps are open…..at least one of em is and the others will be once I have somebody make a wake in front of the others again….
I just got done plowing snow from Sunday/Monday’s 52 inch snowfall!! . Now we got another 2-3 on the ground and still snowing……back at it again. At least I haven’t dropped the snowplow in the river yet…just the skidloader….and that was only once!
February 6, 2004 at 2:48 pm #29135352 inch snowfall??? You must be getting sick of the snow…You’re halucinating again!!
February 7, 2004 at 2:51 am #291789And to think that Jakes poor Dad is paying for Jake to learn all this stuff at college. One week Jake thinks hes a cat [his pic] and the next week he thinks hes a big mouth fish. And he loves watching guys eating pee-snow. What next? Jake catching a fish, Not!
Thanks, Bill
