We were up for a week on pool 4. Lots of sauger and walleye. Vertical jigging in 12 – 18 ft of water produced the most fish. We caught some on plastics. Most were caught on blue hair jig with minnows. Bigger fish for my boat came on half of night crawler and hair jig. Lost a ten plus at the boat. Pitching bite was slower because we forgot the chainsaw. Buoys were under water and we did not want to chance running in the dark for the pitching bite. Good to talk to Dustin on the water. We stopped up to see Dean and deliver bread that my wife Jane always makes for him. Dean was holding up well for the circumstances and as usual shared important information for us. Thanks Dean. I say this all the time. Pool 4 is truly a unique and wonderful fishery. We put all the big girls back.

Looks like you had a good trip. Congrat’s on some nice fish in some very tough conditions.
