While it was cold and windy, we did manage to find a couple decent fish. We got schooled by a group from Iowa. That guy had excellent boat control and knew how to fish. While we managed about 8 fish for the day, I’d say they managed 30+. A lot of dinks though. I kept a couple nice eater saugers for my brother. The walleye is about 22″. The sauger is my Personal Best sauger at 19″.

FYI: there is a lot of current and debris right now.

Pat, you should talk nice of your southern neighbors. Never know when you will need a fishing lesson!!!!

Hairjig, about 3″ of water clarity. Not s seki disc test, but that’s when I loose sight of a bright jig.

Not nice Gutone…Im that Iowa guy…lol. Was a tough day with cross wind over current. But frow what i saw…Ruger…u guys r pretty good with a boat yourselves. Nice fish!…We did get some good..15, 16 inch eaters for the fry pan. Really nice not to be framing metal studs and hanging drywall. Ill chose dinks over that any day.

HommeDeNord. Yeah, catching dinks beats working any day. How big did you guys estimate that sturgeon at? I figured it was a around 50″ or better.

As you can see, we kept a couple of those 14″ dinks for the hot grease release.

I was struggling all day trying to not crowd everyone as well as stay on track. Those wind gusts really messed with me. I think I need to upgrade to a 101 Terrova with iPiolt. Perhaps I should let the better half drive the boat next time to prove to her more power is needed.
