Was thinking about heading up tomm to try my luck with some walleye and saugers. Has anyone posibly been fishing the area…and could u advise me if i should give it a run or just stay home. We were up last saturday and sunday…Just hammered the fish in the minnesota slough saturday…it was fun. SUNDAY…..wow. What a huge change! One bite…One 5lb catfish. Canot believe that in 12 hours it could change that much. Anyway…thank for any advise about going tomm. Good luck.

According to Ted Peck fishing is going to be pretty tough on pool 9 for the next couple of weeks. I think I believe him.

I like fishing that area, when you got into the fish Saturday did they have any size to them?

Ecnook…Was a tough day friday…i posted my ufda! post. Maybe we could meet sometime and spend a day on the water…I know a lady that i can get some canned chicken, or canned venison…for guide service fees . Think i say every single boat on pool 9 friday…and never saw a bite..5 boats of cold guys. Did get one flathead. Smackem…Of the thirty-two we caught in 2 1/2. hours, the better fish were in the 15, 16 inch area. Have been suprised tho this season…usually we just slam the cats on the curves below the mouth of the minnesota slough….but nothing this year….I love eating winter channels…kinda dissapointed.
