water clarity pools 13 – 16

    Anybody know what the water clarity is on pools 13 – 16 would like to go fishing on sunday want to know if it would be worth the trip i know the water is rising but is it fishable tx

    Friends of mine were over Wed. and the report was not good!! High and muddy !!!

    Pool 16 has risen over 2 ft, in the last 2 days. The flow is at just over 80,000 cfs. Lots of debris starting to flow.You be the judge.

    by looking at the rivercam it looks high and ugly out there…

    Flood stage is 15ft. Rivers at 11.5 and rising. The flow is 110500cfs. Yikes.

    I was in pool 14 Wed. evening , we did pretty good . We had eight nice eyes. The eddy we were fishing was shrinking as we fished, the flow was picking up that fast. There was a ton of ice coming down. The water has risen a couple feet since and the clarity is poor. This usually means a pretty tough bite with the water still in the low thirties. I might try and get out Sunday evening to look for some shallow water action . You can’t catch them out of your easy chair. This time of year that next cast might be a “hawg”.
