Well for a bass guy thought I would give it a try. Got to Evert’s around 11 on saturday, place was packed. Got the scoop from Dean and they showed us a few things, that we needed to know, being a virgin and all Got my brother and me hooked up with the colors and jigs that where needed.

Went out to the parking lot, thats what it looked like anyway people running around trying to find a place to park. Did not catch any hogs, but kept one.

Neither one of us where walleye fisherman so decide not to keep anything that was less than 15. Rangers checked the boat right after I got this one. As they where moving away my brother hooked into a sturgeon, we thought that was funny, brother unhooked it right away and slid it back in the water, then thought dang should have got a picture. Anyway stayed until around 7:30. As I am typing this I am eating the one I caught, some onions and tators fried up. Will have to wait for warmer weather, us old guys do not like the cold. Thanks Dean for the help and advice, brother wants to do another trip when the weather warms up and during the week.
