Ice conditions @ Lynxville

    Has anyone been ice fishing at the Lynxville Dam? I was wondering if the conditions allow fishing up past the long wall?

    I’m working Saturday and planning to drive up after work to check the ice conditions at Lynxville. I’ll post my findings…

    10″ out by the short wall.I did a little fishing last week
    not a fast bite but they are out there.Be careful if anyone get out after the new snow that is comming tonite.I’ll be going out every morning and breaking trail.

    Went fishing today at Lynxville – the ice could be thicker and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings… This last cold blast has frozen the ice chunks together so the thickness varies – the most I drilled thru was 6″ and I drilled 16 holes. The bite was slow! 1 Walleye 3.5# and 5 small sauger. Not bad for my first time out at the dam… Be careful if you go
