I thought i would make this thread where us pool 16 guys can update what colors seem to be working best for them this spring.

my general color for this pool seems to be techniglow chart and Techniglow Pink.

Will be getting out in the next few weeks and will try and keep this updated. hopefully the other pool 16 guys will contribute and find this useful as well.

The water right know is very clean, if the sun is out anything from the “cracker family” with purplecracker chart.tail being my favorite. There are several good colors like oystershell, pro-blue,chart. pepper ,and cotton candy. When the water stains up try purple chart. tail and catalpa and any of the chartreuse cored colors. Just keep changing colors till you find one they like . Glitter head with purplecracker was good last weekend. I hope this helps.

Both are great baits. I tend to use ringies more with the water temp in the mid thirties. Once the temps start up paddle tails shine. That is more of a rule of thumb , but don’t be afraid to try both of them the fish will tell you what they want.

I have success with 2 colors orange and chart.
Ring worm body, twister tails and paddle tails chart with silver flake, chart with green core. Another choice is black body with chart. tail.
I am going to give it a go this weekend. Will slip in at Sunset ramp on the Miss River or Marquette. Any advise?

You got to love high water. In the past years I have found so very productive water at this time. Just can’t wait.
