Genoa Dam – Ice Conditions

    Might just be dreaming, but anybody think a guy will be able to fish below Genoa dam this weekend from a boat?

    You can already launch at the Genoa boat landing but from my understanding you can only go south from there. Perhaps you could be the guy to bust the ice out at the dam?? Other than that maybe by the weekend or at least by next weekend for sure you will be able to get up to the dam.

    Although this coming weekend is usually “THE” weekend , unless thinks have changed in the last couple days you are probably dreaming. Fishing pool 4 this week so I haven’t been down sorry.

    I have been driving back and forth from Platteville the last 3 days for work and have seen the river open dramacticly (sp) each day. Falling rock landing now open (yesterday) victory open, fish hatchery (bad axe) open genoa landing open (only south) people still fishing on the ice below genoa & dresbach dam (death wish? )

    Anyone been by trempealeau dam ?
