Heading down to pool 4 this morning. Feel like a kid on chrismas first time ever in the winter, any suggestions on keeping trailers rust free after our salty roads? obviously wash when close to home but any one do anything else?

When you get back home or close by, find a “old style” hand wand high-pressure car wash the one in my town costs 8-quarters =$2.00 for I believe 4 minutes of time. seems to work fine..

    What about the motor?

do you just run it “Dry” out of the water when back on land for a few minutes to blow all of the excess water through the exhaust to get all of the moisture out of the intake?

I never start my Opti out of the water in winter, some do and that is there choice. I tilt it all the way up and down twice each time in the down postion letting the water drain. Buckle it up and head for home.

That self serve car wash in your town! Spray her down, let her sit in the sun today, then put her away. Heck, I might see you there, the truck is looking like it needs it.

I was told that lower units drain on there own, no reason to run them out of the water.

I give ours a quick turn over no running but just a turn over to run the water out of the lines.
