Wet snow and wind and a tough bite had us wondering what the heck we were doing bobbing around on the big river when we both had to go to work later in the day.
But then Steve hooked into this gal.

If you’re only going to catch one fish per trip….that’s the one you want to catch!

actually, after getting re-energized we ended up with a good mess of keepers.

26 1/4 … and we should have taped the girth; she was really thick through the shoulders and belly.
no weight cause all we had was a cheap spring scale and we wanted a quick release.
