Thanks Tony, Garth! I am guessing I will have to hold on for a warm spell before it is worth towing the boat down. Thanks for checking things out! I’m not much of an ice fisherman, but my brother in law has been doing great during this cold spell in the Cordova area. I may have to go sit on the ice, just to wet a line. Crappies and bluegills are both doing well.
Tony, I saw your report about fishing Sunfish slough by Fulton. I live at the river end of that slough! You are a brave soul. There is some very thin ice in there on the coldest of winters due to the warm springs in there. That is one of my “secret” spring walleye spots as well. There are some real sows in there before spawn, and right after spawn as well. Bass guys catch them in there all summer long, but not much for numbers. Don’t tell anyone about my secret spot, ok?
All’s well here Tony! Working hard on winter projects and honey-dos, tying spinner rigs for spring, and reorganizing my tackle so I can concentrate on some real serious fishin’ come ice out!
Thanks again,
Rooster
