FYI – Just found out today Wise Ace Hardware in Lake City is going to start carrying minnows, they will have them in Friday (1/22/10) sometime. Since the Sinclair/Conoco closed a few months ago nobody in town sold live bait.
I always stopped there for bait and license. They seemed to be busy every time I stopped. Where can a guy get licenses early in the morning at Lake City?
I’m not sure of their hours, but Ace does sell licenses and the have pretty good selection of tackle also.
The Get and Go sells Licences and Minnows, they are open early.
Get n go doesn’t have minnows in the winter (only in the summer), their outdoor bait shack isn’t heated.
