He may be thinking, “What’s the big deal? I do this all the time.”

    I wasnt here,but I understand, the fish was a shade over 30.
The girth is what I find amazing, pics seldom do a fish justice.

First trip to pool 4, hey? You did tell him that 30+ inchers are common, didn’t you Dean??
Sounds like my first trip to Canada years back…got a 31 incher in my first hour on the water, thinking “this is great…gonna be getting ’em like this all week long”. well, never got another that big since, anywhere. Nice fish, first timer.

I caught a 32″ eye that had that same vertical markings that, that pig has. Mine was post spawn and weighed 11.6 lbs. Congrats on a eye of a lifetime. I had mine mounted, but now wished I would have released her and went replica. It has been 16 yrs and looks its age. Flex Fish. com has the best replicas I have ever seen.

Nice fish! You didn’t catch that on a “River Rat Randy River Rig” did ya? At last check, they hadn’t caught a fish under 10#! Congrats on an awesome fish!
