Ive been down quite a few times in the winter, but never in my truck/boat. Ford ranger RWD and a 14’/30hp, simple light boat- I should be ok pulling the boat out of water, Ramp usually seems very clean.? And then up the hill leaving is the one that worries me. ?? Ok or Chains?

    Thanks All

I would say you would be just fine.If it’s a traction issue just have B.K. lay under the rear tires.

You’ll be fine. I was there this weekend, and as always, the ramps were great and the hill was well sanded.
Problem with throwing BK under the back tires is that he’s not tall enough to reach all the way across.
    Not a bad idea though!!

    Eeeewwww!

Unless it snows a lot, going up the hill won’t be a problem.

The ramp will be fine too unless you happen to be there on a day when no one drains their trailer. In that case, there’s bags of salt by the fish cleaning house.

Worst case…we’ll pull you out. Since I doubt I’ll be there when you’re leaving…I can say that with confidence.

Maybe it’s just me…but I feel it’s an honor to be ripped on by a new poster. So feel free.

Just make sure if you see a guy running around at Everts with either a pink Everts cap or a nose warmer on, you stop and say hi…unless of course I’m under an axle…then just help the guy that’s stuck out.

Do a quick ramp check before backing down the ramp and salt if necessary. Since you have a Rwd, throw a couple of 50 lb bags of salt in the back just in case-will give you extra weight as well.
