We’ve been blessed with some great photos tonight, sent out to us at FTR by local visitors to a gentleman that regularly logs on from Pennsylvania (that last one is in the bass forum), plus we’ve got a bunch of recent icefishing photos over on FTL
This first one makes it out to us from Jarrad “Fireflick” Fluekiger and is a pic of his son with his first fish ever caught “solo!” Some of you may remember his “proud father” post a few months back. I did and since I thought it was a memorable post, I dug up the link back to that thread in case somebody might want to check it out.
Here’s that link to the thread: Young lads first fish!
In Jerrad’s own words…” Here is a picture of my little boy’s first fish he has ever caught on his own. He was jigging a 1/2 oz. jig and a minnow. His secret is just saying “here fishy fishy”. His wopper was caught using the good old snoopy rod and reel.”
How many of you can remember you first fish? Sadly, I can’t. But we know Jerrad’s boy will have this photo to remind him of this special moment. Awesome deal!
Thanks Jerrad.
This next group of photos come out to us from Wayne Webster. He gets out locally quite a bit and he sure seems to have the knack for catching big fish…. or should I say, both he AND his son J.J. do!
This first pic is Wayne Webster with a dandy 31″ post-spawn walleye caught this past spring on Lake Pepin. What a horse!
This second pic shows J J Webster w/ 50″ Musky caught and released on Zumbro River well after the sun called it a day! You can see it in this photo but J.J. is up to his knees in water and the stream-side grass is much taller than a grown man’s head. Looks like these guys worked a bit to get to this fish and came away with a great story and a super pic of a monster musky taken from a rather small local stream.
Thanks to everyone for sharing these pics. We all appreciate it considerably.
