The bite today honestly seemed a little slower than it has been as far as quality fish. There are still a TON of small fish being caught, but there were more people than there has been without the bigger fish. Don’t get me wrong, some people did great, but overall the bigger sauger were harder to come by today. It seemed the people that had the nice catches moved around a lot until they found some better fish. Don’t be afraid to go downstream a bit!! No, I don’t know of any “hot spots” down there, but my guess would be that with the less pressure there may be some better fish to be had….just a hunch. I may be wrong. Good Luck.
