pool 9, Sticking with what works

…and it still works.
Same large hair jigs, same hole. I got the call from Genoa that my Mom landed a 31″ 11lb greenback. I think this one met her wall mount standards, as she gave me an ear full when I asked if she put it back, lol.
I’ll get a picture up when they get back late tomorrow.

They said there was hardly any grass. Lots of cats, and still the occasional big perch.

The sad news is it grew over the phone. The actual measurements were 27″ at 8.5 lbs. (still a real nice fish) They also didn’t have a camera or net with them. So they just have a cel phone picture.

I guess the netting was interesting. They had a friend fishing up in the current that they yelled to. he made a pass by their boat and netted it out of his. (thats what all the commotion was about when they called) Probably looked like a circus act.
