NEW TO KEOKUK AREA

    I JUST RENTED A PLACE BY KEOKUK AND AM LOOKING FOR ANY ADVICE OR INFO ON FISHING IN THIS AREA. ANY ADVICE IS GREATLY APRECIATED THANK YOU

    You should have some good fishing for eyes there at the dam at Keokuk. River generally stays open all winter. A lot of tackle stealing rock down there. And you’re not too far a drive from Mark Twain in Mo. Some good open water winter crappies. There are some guys closer to you than me who can give you some info if they read this thread. Spinner Dave comes to mind.
