I’ve been killing the walleye on pool’s 11,12,13 on the wing dams. You just have to fish a little harder because they are only on the dams with deeper water and more current. Same method’s as in june just a smaller jig and a bigger tail. 20″to 27″ on every trip a lot of 24″ and 25″ fish but we usually tussel with something bigger at least every other time out. We are still getting them on the cranks, try getting away from the bomber’s and try jointed rap’s in crawdad brown. If that doesn’t work the rebel deep craw always does. Let me know it you guys try this and are successful. Bryce Nannenga

Hey Micah! That is a good spot. I just went back and looked at the picture again. I’m pretty sure Rootski got his 2nd personal best there when Mike took us out a couple of months ago. I’ve never put up a lot of numbers there; but I’ve seen some nice size fish from that spot. That whole shoreline has some good spots all the way down to the landing. It can be a good trolling run.

    Nice Fish Micah.

It has been forever since I have posted or even lurked around on IDO. I found myself heading out to P2 on a regular basis, thinking I knew what to do to catch fish. Most of the time I’m either right or lucky (most likely the latter) and find some willing fish. But, I was checking some posts out last week and realized I have been neglecting some fantastic presentation options as the bite and flow has been changing. Thanks to everyone that makes this the best fishing resource on the net!

Here’s an 29.25″ eye from a recent outing.

    very nice fish there Beno.
I’ll be exploring some new water tomorrow morning way down south. So much river, so little time.
