Pool 2 Sunday

Hit pool 2 yesterday with fairly good results. Managed to catch around thirty fish, with most being the desired species. Started on the wingies, got a few eyes, but couldn’t break the 20″ mark. Found Whities, Cats, and milting Sheepies on the dams. Afternoon was spent strictly trolling. Trolled up 4 eyes and a sauger over 20″. Also got into a 25″ Kitty. The eyes pictured are 25.5″ & 27.5″ What a nice day to be on the water, not nearly as busy as I expected.

It looks like alot of us are fishing the same spots,I got out Friday and Sunday. Friday I had guests for the afternoon, Ryan and Shannon joined me and we had a great day on Friday, Shannon got her first walleye and she really cleaned up all day catching fish after fish. She got a snag and handed the pole to Ryan only to have the snag pull back, it ended up being a 25.75. We probably got twenty on Friday. Sunday was off a bit for me, I ended up with 10, 26 being the biggest. It just seems to be odd for this time of year, usually cranks just take over but it just hasn’t happened. I kept my big fish steak alive with a 28.25 on Friday, its been a great year for big fish.
