So who’s fishing tomorrow? Im heading down early and planning on fishing until mid afternoon. Front seat is open if someone wants to jump in. Think Im going to spend a fair amount of time dragging jigs and looking over new spots tomorrow.
I’ll prob get out about mid afternoon or so. Don’t sore-lip all the big fish now and leave a few for me 
Anyone get into them this weekend? Think I caught 4 on Saturday. All small. Didnt get to try dragging like I had hoped but maybe next time.
Nope….me and the Misses went to P-3 in the morning and got skunked. We were just hoping to get one or two for the pan and couldnt get em. I was out Friday night on P-2 for flatheads and had a blast though.
Fished Sunday morning and found the walleyes/saugers cooperative. Not fast action, but lively enough, including a 26″ and a 28″. Caught the bigger fish on 4″ Sassy shads.
An absolutely beautiful morning weather-wise. The 494 launch was getting busy when I left at noon.
We made it down on Sunday afernoon. 3 fish on cranks 3 pulling leaches and 4 dragging and pitching them. Nothing huge but good looking eyes. Best fight of the day was a sumo of a sheephead (12-14 lbs). Great fight and nice day to be on the water. Also caught a couple channel cats in about 1-2 fow. Weird that they were that shallow. That was pitching bait up into the riprap and they were right on shore. Pretty busy out there but tuff to pass up!
We did pretty well over the weekend with both good numbers and size, I’ll get a full report up this week.
