The fishin was great all day down here below the dam.Bear from Wanakee was out with me and we kept 18 to eat 16 of which were sauger.They were hitting anything that we put in the water.Started with hair jigs and minnows then switched to Kalins.No stingers needed.With the warm temps I’d try to take advantage of it and get in the boat.

I’ve received a couple of calls at home and several people at work are telling me that the saugers are committing suicide below L/D 9 at Lynxville…Get there while it open because it won’t take long and it will be froze over…
River is still open and they are still hitting.We will be closed on X-mas day but will reopen on Fri morning.

I wouldn’t call it suicide Dave, but it sure was fun!! 3 of my buddies and I went up this morning in 2 boats and both limited out. It’s the 1st time I ever have done that at L/D 9.
