Have not been on the river in over 6 weeks due to work obligations. Joel (Drewsdad) called me Friday while I was still in SoCal and insisted it was time to get on the water.
Though we were only able to spend 4 hours on Pool 2, we certainly made the best of it with fish such as these two pictured coming to the boat. We caught fish pitching crankbaits, plastics and hair jigs. We also picked up fish trolling crankbaits.
Thank you Joel for the morning on the water. It was fun shaking the cobwebs loose from my sticks. 
Right now the bite is as good as it gets so be sure to make the most of it and get out on the water.
