Went out Sunday afternoon & fished from Lilydale up to Hidden Falls. Water temp was 59-60. Caught more fish on shad raps than last time out but a chartreuse k-tail still landed a few, including a pike that shredded that that tail. It pays to look for new eddies everytime you go out especially if the water level has changed. I caught fish out of eddies that were not there 2 weeks ago. It was a notable bird sighting day as well. Beside the expected vultures, blue herons, and eagles I got a great look at a pileated woodpecker working on a very tall dead tree near the HF ramp. Man that thing was loud.
