Does anybody know if the Toolesboro boat ramp is open? FYI the Keokuk ramp at 19 is open and no ice in river. Don’t know how bite is now – on 12/20 caught several nice sauger. Good Fishing! LundMan

I cleaned off the ramp at Toolsboro today and got out for a bit this afternoon. River is low enough now there is lots of reverse current at the dam. Fish are awfull hard to find since it dropped so much and very little current. Maybe they just weren’t hungry. Caught 2 short fish and that was it. Tried jigs, 3-ways with floaters and cranks. This wind wants to blow you all over except where you want. Putting the big rig away for the winter tomorrow. Still got the dingy ready tho.
