The wife and kids were busy at a dance competition all weekend so guess what I hit p2 Friday, Saturday, and today. I fished from Lilydale up to the dam. Did pretty well, for me anyway, totalled around 30 walleyes, 10 smallies, lots of white bass, and a few sheepies. Biggest walleyes were one 22″ and two 21s. All walleyes except the biggies looked great, very healthy looking fish. The biggies were still a bit ragged. Fish were caught on ringworms, 3″ Kalin tails, and small silver shap raps in that order. Best colors were firecracker, chartreuse, and pearl. I did not fish anything deeper than 10′. They were hitting pretty hard, I love that solid whack that leaves no doubt you just got hit. Also I am pretty sure I caught the same smallie yesterday and today, or else there are two smaillies that live in the same seam that both have a little deformed dorsal fin spine. It was a great weekend. I saw lots of guys out, I wonder how everyone else did.
