This fish was caught on Lake Onalaska while fishing a Bass tournament. Had to share this photo. Bear is a good guide – for walleye!

Unfortunately we did not. Got one quick pick and wanted to get her back in the water.

We didn’t really take the time to tape her as we were trying to put a limit of fish together for the bass tourney. Plus those bass fisherman normally don’t have anything in there boat to measure real fish with teeth of that size. I would say it was pushing 30″ and somewhere in the 9 pound range.

FYI, Bear tends to always guess on the light side. Maybe his estimates are more accurate on eyes than Bass. As far as “real fish” – no argument from me. That fish was impressive.

We ended up with 26.1l bs (8 fish) with a 4.48 lb smallmouth. We had a good day but needed 30 lbs to take a check. It was a blast.

She’s a dandy. I love it when they go “full salute” with the fins.

Dang Johnny not bad for a man who fishes for fish with no teeth! I love those nice white DISCO pants too….. Did you and Bear high five, or passionately hug as you “bass boys” do it. LOL “Big D”

You shoulda measured it off with that tape in your pocket??

PS- Congrats on the new little one coming!
