I hope to get out for the first time for the year and will try Pool 14. The weather appears to be a go for Thursday and hopefully the boat will run well for the first time out. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!

    Have a great day

The water is still pretty dirty. The Walleyes spawned a couple of weeks ago so they should start settling back into there summer patterns. I would try the backwaters for Bass or Crappies. They should start picking up pretty good by now.

I plan to hit 14 myself, both Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Last week, pitchin paddle tails to sand flats brought a few walleyes to the boat. All were just short. Hopefully things pick up this week.

    Good luck!

Big Muddy – I have tried for crappies in pool 14 in the past and have had no luck. Any ideas where they are hiding?

Cattail slough is a good spot also up in-side Beaver Island. You might also want to try down around Follets. It’s never been a really good pool for crappies unless you hit it just right. Up around Savanna is alot better for nice saddle backs. Browns,Millers,Running slough,Lainesville or Bardge Lake.
