Today was Pat Smith’s day for a piggy PB.Weighing in at 13.1 # and 30 inches if I remember correctly. This fish tops his previous PB from a few years back of 11.2.Is that right Pat?
I think he said he caught it at the same exact location of his fish today. He said he was fishing “secret spot #2” !

    Congrats!!!!!!!!!

Just a comment…unless you carry a good quality scale, many people keep bigguns in the live well and weigh/photo/release at Everts…
Might be a good place to look for a Piggie…

Why do people feel the need to haul these nice fish in their livewell and take them to Everets for a picture to inflate their ego. Take a picture right where you are and release it there immediately. I may be wrong but I thought you could not release a fish once it was in your livewell (culling) but I may be wrong. If it was kept for a mount its a shame but his choice.
By the way “nice fish” and congratulations.

I have to agree with you brother! In this day and age with graphite/replica mounts being better than the actual fish mount. There is no reason not to Catch/Photo/Release.

Congats on the monster “eye” though!
